Does anyone else recognize the Mac waiting animation there? Like when you login? It's not the rainbow of death, but I swear I've seen it before, lighting in a circular motion clockwise.
Also there's a version of it in Firefox's "hold on I'm going I'm going, GAWD" icon on the upper right side of the window. And numerous flash applications I've seen with something similar.
Just sayin', every time I go to Wal Mart it's going to feel like I have to click something.
It's very... Windows XP. It has that pastel-blue, lowercase sans-serif look that I automatically associate with Microsoft, MSN, and anyone wanting to ape their style and appeal to the same moronic customers. Something about that look has always turned me off—it's like it's trying to be intentionally shallow and superficial.
Dave: As for loading icons, I still miss the Cylon in Netscape. Way better than a spinny circle.
